Hi. My name is Alison. You can call me Aly (I prefer it to be spelt this way)

Please don’t follow me just because you want a “follow back”. I don’t do that :) I’ll follow you because I find your stuff interesting. 

The meaning behind my blog title (‘Oui! Dans les arbres!’) is literally French for ‘Yes! In the trees!’. It is not some sort of pretentious hipster quote in French. The phrase was taken from my IGCSE French Foreign Language listening exams (of May/June 2011). The woman reading out the ‘brochure’ of a summer camp said the houses were in the trees. She later emphasised the point by saying ‘Oui, dans les arbres!’ in a very exaggerated manner. This struck everyone in the exam room as rather funny and therefore I thought it idoneous to put as a random blog title. 

If ever you find yourself wondering where I’m from, I’ll save you the trouble and the bore of sitting through a long story. I’ve summarised it for you. Basically, I consider myself from the UK, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the States (more specifically, New Jersey) :D It’s a long story, but I find that I connect myself to these four places very often. 

There are 3 (well, 4, technically) things that I am obsessed with.

• Food (namely - pizza)
• Men (you will see a list of them soon)
• Films/TV shows

I live in Señor Bale’s pants.
